Polly was finishing a furious mass sprint when a spectator disguised as a mailbox hit her handlebar and caused her to hit the pavement. In addition to road rash, she broke her clavicle and shattered her elbow. Surgery the next day wired her back together, but left her in a cast which has been replaced by her bionic looking brace. On the orthopedic floor of the hospital she was know as "The Athlete," due to her low blood pressure, low pulse rate, and athletic injury.
Karen came up from Lake Geneva to provide professional care and support.
I'm a triathlete and coach for TrainingBible Coaching. Although not a natural endurance athlete, I have had good success at 70.3's (3 age group wins in the last 3 years) and Ironman races (2 age group wins in the last 3 years), by interacting with my TrainingBible Coach.
